We start our day trip in the ancient town of Fez and have start our journey to Meknes, with a long stop of over in the ancient ruins of Volubolis.
Meknes, with its ancient medina walls, famous bab (door), souks, museum of cultural history and much more will be sure to please all. But the breathtaking event of the day is the stop in Volubolis. Dating from the 3rd century BC these ancient Roman ruins are the oldest and most spectacular in Morocco. Well preserved tiled floor, statues, gateways, walkways, and the ruins of the old cities housing are all part of the tour.
The drive back to Fes, with as many stops for photos as needed, is also very scenic. You will be dropped of at your accommodation in Fes.
