EXCELLENTVerified Morocco tour The trip was very insightful and was a good experience. We started off in Fes where we made our way to the Sahara. This was the highlight of the trip as we rode camels to the tents and saw the sunset in the desert. The accomodation at the Sahara was also very nice and food was also very good. We then made our way to Dades Valley where we spent the night in a nice accomodation overlooking the valley. Finally we then made our way to Marrakesh for the end of the three day tour. The tour included the accomodation, breakfast and dinner for the three days. We had a very enjoyable tour with lots of stops showing off the culture and history of Morroco. The food was very good and we had an amazing time in the Sahara desert seeing the sunrise and sunset, as well as having a ride on the camels. During the initial stages of planning the trip communication was great and at no point were we ever pressured to commit to using the tour group. Rachid, my travel guide and driver from the Moroccan vacation tour, provided an excellent trip in his Toyota Prado from January 15th to January 23rd 2026. We journeyed from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, Merzouga, Midelt (Zaida), Fes, Volubilis, Chefchaouen, Tangier, Rabat, and finally to Casablanca. I loved the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass while travelling across the Mount Atlas. Rachid organized the itinerary at a very competitive price. He was always prompt in his responses and punctual throughout the tour. We enjoyed the AFCON finale between Morocco and Senegal at the beautiful Meteorite Boulajoul Hotel in Zaida, alongside many other soccer enthusiasts. We took an unforgettable trip to Morocco with my five-year-old daughter, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. One of our biggest highlights was riding camels into the desert and camping overnight, an experience neither of us will ever forget. From beginning to end, we were completely happy with our tour. I scheduled the trip ahead of time with Rachid by email. I was initially looking at several local companies that organize Moroccan tours and chose Rachid because he was consistently the most responsive and helpful. He gave me various suggestions to make the trip better, all of which turned out to be excellent. Unlike the other companies who offered a cookie cutter trip, he worked with me individually to be sure it was the best trip for our interests. Rachid met us at the airport and was reliable at all stages. He arranged personal guide and car for an 8-day tour from Marrakech to Fes, including the High and Middle Atlas and the Sahara. We later extended the tour by 3 days to include Chefchaouen and Volubilis because we were so happy with the service. The car was a nearly new SUV that had every feature to make the trip safe and comfortable. What really made the tour unforgettable was our exceptional guide, Abdul Arrafiaa. He was an excellent driver. His self-taught English (in addition to multiple other languages) was perfect. He is an extremely experienced guide and knows all the best spots for photos. He went out of his way to show us things not strictly on the tourist path, which gave us a more complete view of Morocco. He was always flexible if we asked for anything. He has a great sense of humor and made everything fun. Abdul added an intellectual and emotional richness to our tour by helping us understand what we were seeing. His scope of knowledge was impressive. He was a great teacher and shared information on the natural history of Morocco, including the land, plants, trees and animals. He taught us Moroccan history and current events. He shared information about the Berber (Amazigh) people, their culture and lifestyles. He introduced us to people who still lived as nomads, and we learned the importance of their domestic animals. Abdul was willing to share with us things about his own life. He taught us about Islam, which really helped us grow in understanding. However, what touched us the most was Abdul's patience, kindness and generosity. He met each morning with joy. He was consistently kind in his interactions with everyone, including other guides, hotel workers, venders, nomads and children. He literally made every day of the trip joyful and fascinating. It was like traveling with an extremely knowledgeable good friend. We don’t usually take tours, but we were very glad we made this choice. After meeting travelers exploring Morocco on their own or in large groups, we realized how much richer our experience was thanks to the personalized tour arranged by Morocco Vacation Tour. The whole journey is very beautiful and Rachid made sure to stop at key points and tell us about the spots. Our overnight stay in the Dades Valley had a gorgeous view. All the accommodations and food spots Rachid took us to were great. We were able to spend some time at Ait Ben Haddou and at Todra Gorge where we saw a handmade rug cooperative run by locals. The evening and overnight stay in the Sahara Desert was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. The food and accommodation there exceeded our expectations. Rachid made sure to safely drop us off at our Riad in Fes and communicated with the staff there himself to ensure we had a smooth transition. Even after our tour with Rachid ended, he told us to keep in contact and just send him a message with any questions we have on the rest of our trip. Rachid gave us great advice and tips that we used during the remainder of our trip. He was later able to give us a contact in Fes to guide us to the tannery. Best way to visit Morocco to see a lot and skip the crowds! We went for a week and saw Marrakech, the desert, and so many Oaises.
