Tour Morocco! Me and my partner spent the last 2 weeks touring throughout much of Morocco. Privately guided tour to not often seen areas from Marakech - Ait Ben Hadou - Nbok - Rassini - Dessert Dunes Experience on Camel - Midelt - Meknes - Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca. One of the most eye opening and wonderful experience to get to know this country this way. I cannot more strongly recommend Rachid and the Moroccon Vacation Tour company. Great client service and gentle nature, good stories and history, amazing changes in geology and landscapes, beautiful and kind people.

We met Rachid through friends who had been to Marrakech in the past and had spoken highly of it. We can confirm the positive reviews. We arrived in Marrakech and Rachid picked us up at the airport and took us to the Riad. The Riad was very beautiful and everyone was very kind. Our guide took care of all the details of the reservation and the organization of the city tour. He showed us the old city and the new city, telling us the history of Marrakech and their customs. We spent the night in the desert, which I recommend because it is a unique experience. Marrakech is a beautiful city and with Rachid's guidance it was even more exciting.
Rachid was great! I engaged him to take us on two one-day trips out of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains because the pharmacist who gave me my travel shots recommended him, and we were not disappointed. Rachid is local, he spoke English very well, and he was a knowledgeable guide.I wanted some customization to the standard itinerary for day trips going towards Ait Ben Haddou, and to the Ourika Valley/Atafay Desert. Rachid was very polite and patient as we negotiated what we wanted to do and what was actually possible to fit into a day. And, he was clear on the final itinerary and what was included and not in the price for the days out (i.e. no hidden costs). Both trips involved a fair bit of driving time; the vehicle was comfortable, and Rachid is a good driver.Rachid was also flexible as the day progressed, such as when Ait Ben Haddou was closed to visitors because filming had started on a movie the day we were there, and he found an alternative for us along our route for an extra stop.The area is beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day trips out of Marrakech. Our overnight stay in the Sahara was one of the most surreal and unforgettable experiences. The camel ride, sand boarding and watching the sun set over the sand dunes were particular highlights.A massive thank you to Rachid for making the three day trip from Marrakesh to the Sahara so entertaining and eye opening. Rachid took us on a journey through the stunning Atlas Mountains, towards the Sahara, making several stops along the way. This included a visit to an Argon co-operative, stops at the breathtaking Todra/Dades Gorge’s and a local carpet weaver.I really recommend this experience to all. Lots of special memories. Just back from our family trip to Morocco and wanted to express our sincere thanks to Rachid and Morocco Vacation Tours for an amazing time in this beautiful, friendly and fascinating country. As we had not been to North Africa before I wanted to ensure we had the best guidance to make the most of this vacation. After much research I chose Moroccco Vacation tours following so many 5 star reviews and am really pleased with our choice. While Rachid caters for longer tours, we had limited time and so the 3 day, 2 night trip from Marrakech to the Sahara was ideal for our party of 5. I was very impressed by Rachid’s responsiveness to my requests for additional information on the trip and felt well prepared before we arrived in Morocco. On day 1 Rachid collected us early and took us on an informative and enjoyable trip to the Dades Valley, via the beautiful snow covered Atlas mountains, visiting an Argan Oil women’s co-operative and stopping off for lunch at Ait Ben Hadoud, a stunning location where Gladiator and Thrones had scenes filmed. The hotel had stunning views and the next day we visited Todra Gorge and a traditional carpet weaver on the way to the Sahara which was the absolute highlight of our vacation. Rachid is Amazigh (Berber) and took us past the house he was born in Merzouga (gateway to the Sahara) and as such was able to provide a lot of insight to the history and culture of the Country and region. The camel ride across the desert was great fun and the camels looked to be very well cared for and well-treated. The Sunset was amazing and it was a really special experience for the whole family. After some sandboarding for the younger members of our party we went to the Tent camp and had a great evening with great food and entertainment by the local team and the star gazing was really special too. It was a 9-hour trip back to Marrakech but the rugged scenery and beauty of the Anti-Atlas and Atlas mountains was breath-taking and the journey was well worth it. Rachid took plenty of breaks for photos and comfort and was very informative along the way. It is clear the Moroccan authorities take tourist and road safety very seriously as we saw many police checkpoints and were stopped a few times to check Rachid had all the correct permits for transporting tourists (they even checked the expiry dates on the contents of his first aid kit!). Thanks Rachid for an amazing time and we would love to come back to see other parts of Morocco and I would be very happy for you to be our guide again. Shukran!

We had a wonderful 10-day private tour exploring many different places across beautiful Morocco (Casablanca to Marrakech with stops in Chefchaouen, Fes, and of course the amazing desert overnight). We found out about Rachid through a friend who highly recommended his services, and we’re glad we followed their advice. Despite it being the high season, Rachid easily accommodated us in his schedule and helped us plan a fantastic 4-day, 3-night itinerary from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert, covering all the key locations along the way.Rachid was very responsive and easy to communicate with during the planning stage. While he wasn’t able to accompany us personally on the travel days, he sent another member of his team, Hakim, who was calm, cheerful, and just as professional. Although this change was communicated quite late and came as a surprise, Hakim made the trip smooth and enjoyable.Our journey took us through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, where we were mesmerized by the fresh snow blanketing the peaks—it was absolutely breathtaking. The beauty of Morocco and all it offers left us in awe, from the majestic Sahara Desert to the charming villages we visited along the way. We also loved interacting with the locals and indulging in the delicious Moroccan cuisine, which added so much richness to our experience.The trip was made even more memorable with Hakim’s excellent taste in music. We enjoyed listening to classics, including Bryan Adams’ songs, while on the road. We also introduced him to Bollywood music, which he enjoyed as much as we did, making the journey lively and fun.The accommodations arranged by Rachid were comfortable overall, but we initially faced some hiccups with the cold weather and heating not working in one of the places. However, Rachid promptly addressed the issue, ensuring we could continue to enjoy the trip comfortably.Overall, we had an unforgettable experience and felt well cared for throughout. My husband and I did a 7 day with Rachid and another driver from his company.D1-3 was with the driver from Casablanca to MarrakechD4-7 was with Rachid touring Marrakech - Ouarzazate and into the SaharaWe booked relatively late so it was high season and Rachid already had tours lined up and the riads/sahara tours he usually arranges with had been fully booked. Nonetheless, he graciously offered to help us plan the trip and was willing to make arrangements to be our guide if we could arrange our own lodging. There were many exchanges as a result of this and he was very helpful in reviewing my lodging choices etc even though these were not his usual partners.We had a good trip with Rachid, he was knowledgeable and we learned much about the Moroccan culture. His car was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend him to our friends.

My husband and I researched taking a trip to Morocco for two years before we chose Morocco Vacation Tours. We were forced to cancel our first trip due to COVID and we were able to finally take this incredible trip. Rachid meticulously planned every detail of this very authentic experience and taught us so much about the culture along the way.
