Tour Plan :
Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura Oasis – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your riad at approximately 8:15 a.m. Begin your journey from Marrakech by crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, stop to admire the breathtaking mountain scenery and capture memorable photos.
Next, visit a local women’s cooperative to discover how traditional Moroccan argan oil is produced. Then, continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village and the filming location for movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander. Enjoy lunch before continuing your adventure.
Later, travel through Ouarzazate to visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Continue through the Skoura Oasis and the beautiful Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival and fragrant rose products. Finally, pass through the Berber towns of El Kelaa des M’Gouna and Boumalne Dades before arriving at your hotel in the Dades Valley. Dinner and breakfast are included.
Day 2 : Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert Camp
After breakfast, leave the Dades Valley and travel toward the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Along the way, pass through traditional Berber villages and stop at the impressive Todra Gorge, where you’ll have time to enjoy a short walk beneath its towering canyon walls.
Afterward, continue through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where the landscapes gradually change into the lush oasis of Tafilalet. Upon arrival in Merzouga, relax at a local hotel and prepare for your desert adventure before meeting your camel caravan. Your main luggage will be transferred to the camp by vehicle, so you only need a small bag for your personal belongings.
Next, enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Pause to admire the spectacular sunset, take beautiful photos, and try sandboarding on the dunes. Finally, arrive at your traditional Berber desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner, live Berber music around the campfire, and an unforgettable night beneath a sky full of stars.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Alnif – Tazzarine – Nkob – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to watch the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara Desert and capture unforgettable photos from the top of the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 vehicle, where your driver will be waiting to continue the journey.
Then, travel through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the beautiful Draa Valley while enjoying Morocco’s ever-changing landscapes. Continue to Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Finally, arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your unforgettable desert adventure comes to an end.
